The Task:

Sound Design and Mix this charming and funny spot for Westpac

The Approach:

To reinforce the ‘swagger’ of the main characters we approached the first half of this Westpac commercial like a music video - purposely avoiding atmospheric or literal sound effects in favour of subtle sound design that were pitched and timed to support the iconic brand track.

This allowed us to heighten the impact and comedy of the Brand Voice by only introducing the designed ambient sounds of the theme park when the characters are brought ‘back to reality’.
