The Task:

Write a bespoke composition seamlessly weaving 5 different genres together in a "musical" style, sound design and mix this stunningly creative spot for Woolworths, Disney, Marvel and Big W

The Approach:

We worked incredibly closely with our director and our approach was to treat the music score like a musical, with the talent recording their parts prior to the shoot and singing on set. The composition takes the audience on a sonic journey, from orchestral grandeur for “Star Wars”, moving into the Hip-Hop vibes for “Spiderman”, transitioning into a Magical Orchestra for “Frozen”, and finally adopting a southern drawl for “Cars”, before circling back to an organic Australiana sound. It was a challenge to weave these diverse elements into a cohesive musical narrative, but the result is something we’re incredibly proud of.
